Beat Lippert
For the opening of the 2012-13 season, TMproject continues its collaboration with Swiss artist Beat Lippert (Lausanne, 1977 -) and presents a set of unpublished works, including installation, sculpture and film.
Duplication, mutation and appropriation are the three main axes of reflection initiated by the artist on the modes of perception of the object-art and the development of critical discourse. Following on his typology of pretense, he wonders about the viewing's erasure and the limits of artistic intervention. Everything becomes a matter of contextualization.
